As spring approaches, the excitement of Little League baseball is building across Western North Carolina. At B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc., we are proud to continue supporting local youth and their families as they prepare for the upcoming season—especially as many leagues recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene.
Several Little Leagues in our region, including Mountaineer (Waynesville), North Asheville, and Avery County, are still working hard to rebuild after the storm caused significant damage to fields, facilities, and equipment. With the season just around the corner, community support is more important than ever.
Thanks to incredible generosity so far, the GoFundMe campaign Help WNC Little Leagues Rebuild After Helene has made strides toward helping these leagues recover. Funds have already been put toward repairing fields and replacing some equipment, but there’s still work to be done to ensure every child who wants to play this season has the opportunity to do so.
How You Can Help
In addition to helping rebuild facilities, a major focus now is ensuring that all children can participate, regardless of financial barriers. Scholarships are being made available to cover registration fees and equipment costs for families in need. If you’d like to help a young player get on the field this season, donations through the GoFundMe page are a great way to make a direct impact.
Spring Baseball Is Almost Here!
The 2025 Little League season is about to begin, and the excitement in our community is contagious. Let’s keep that momentum going by ensuring every player has the opportunity to participate, learn, and grow through the sport they love.
