Celebrating Excellence Within Our Team
Our annual Company Holiday Party on December 21st at Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee was a memorable event, bringing together over 270 attendees, including employees, families, and friends. We were proud to honor Eddie Cedillo as the 2024 Most Valuable Employee and Michael Collins as the 2024 Employee of the Year. Their commitment and hard work exemplify the values we uphold at BHGL.
Showcasing Our Work: Transformations and Innovations
This year, we undertook several notable projects that highlight our expertise and passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. One such project was a landscape transformation in Sylva, NC, where we revitalized a residential property by integrating native plants, installing functional hardscapes, and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. This project not only met but exceeded our client’s expectations, showcasing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Community Engagement and Support
Giving back to the community has always been a cornerstone of our mission. In 2024, we extended our support to families impacted by Hurricane Helene, donating over $3,000 to provide Christmas gifts to children and families in need. This effort, in collaboration with Carolina Pediatric Therapy, the YMCA, and Jessica Jordan, allowed us to spread holiday cheer and bring hope during the festive season. Additionally, we sponsored a double-header baseball event to benefit Little Leagues in Western North Carolina, further strengthening our ties to the community.
