A Role That Makes an Immediate Impact
Our crews depend on reliable equipment every day. As our Part-Time, On-Call Welder, you’ll help minimize downtime by repairing and fabricating components for the equipment and vehicles that keep our operations moving.
Projects may include:
- Repairing broken landscaping equipment
- Welding mower decks and equipment frames
- Repairing loader buckets
- Fabricating and repairing fences and gates
- Performing repairs on trucks and trailers
- Shop fabrication projects
- Occasional on-site field repairs when equipment failures occur
Every repair directly supports our construction, landscape maintenance, erosion control, and sports field crews serving clients throughout Western North Carolina.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who combines technical welding expertise with flexibility and dependability.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong MIG and stick welding experience
- Experience repairing heavy equipment, trailers, or commercial machinery
- Excellent troubleshooting and fabrication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to respond to urgent repair needs, including occasional evenings and weekends
A valid driver’s license is required, and a CDL is preferred.
