B. H. Graning Landscapes and Supply is excited to announce our sponsorship of an incredible community event to support Western North Carolina Little Leagues affected by Hurricane Helene. Join us on November 9th for a thrilling fall baseball double-header featuring Western Carolina University vs. Appalachian State University, starting at 1 PM at Hennon Stadium in Cullowhee, NC!
The double-header promises an exciting day of baseball, bringing fans together from across our region to cheer on these college teams while also giving back to our community. This event, held in conjunction with District 5 Little League and Great Smokies Little League, and sponsored by B. H. Graning Landscapes and Supply and other dedicated local businesses, will raise funds for Little Leagues in Western North Carolina that suffered significant losses from Hurricane Helene. Proceeds from donations, concessions, and special fundraising activities during the games will support Mountaineer (Waynesville), North Asheville, and Avery County Little Leagues as they work to repair damaged fields, replace lost equipment, and prepare for the upcoming spring 2025 season.
How You Can Help
Attending the game is a fantastic way to show your support, but even if you canโt make it, you can still contribute to the cause. An online donation option is available through a GoFundMe page, which you can access here: Help WNC Little Leagues Rebuild After Helene. Every contribution, large or small, will make a meaningful difference in rebuilding and restoring these essential youth programs.
Come Join Us!
Gather your friends and family for an afternoon of baseball, community spirit, and the chance to make a positive impact. Letโs rally together to support our local Little Leagues and help them come back stronger than ever!
We hope to see you there and thank you for helping us make a difference for the youth in Western North Carolina.
