B. H. Graning Landscapes Celebrates Summer with a Night at the Ballpark
A summer evening of baseball, family, food, and fireworks with the B. H. Graning Landscapes team
At B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc., some of our favorite company traditions are the ones that give our employees and their families a chance to spend time together away from the jobsite. On August 14, 2026, we did just that with a company summer event at an Asheville Tourists baseball game!
Our team and their families gathered at the ballpark for an evening filled with good food, great company, baseball, and plenty of summer fun. It was a chance to trade work boots and equipment for ball caps and ballpark food and simply enjoy being together as a team.
A Great View from the Palmetto Bullpen
For the evening, our group took over the Palmetto Bullpen, a fantastic group area located along the first-base line. With a great view of the action and plenty of room for everyone to visit and relax, it was the perfect spot for the B. H. Graning crew and our families.
Of course, no baseball game would be complete without ballpark food! Our group enjoyed catered ballpark favorites throughout the evening while cheering on the Asheville Tourists. The ballpark staff also went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of, and we greatly appreciated their hospitality and service.
Celebrating the Families Behind Our Team
While our employees are the people you see working on landscapes, construction projects, maintenance routes, jobsites, and behind the scenes each day, there are also families supporting them along the way.
That’s one of the reasons our summer company event is so special to us. Bringing spouses, children, and family members together gives everyone an opportunity to get to know one another outside of work and reminds us that the B. H. Graning family extends well beyond our offices and crews.
Throughout the evening, there was plenty of conversation, laughter, baseball, and time to catch up with coworkers from across the company. With employees working throughout Western North Carolina and across different divisions, events like this give us an opportunity to bring everyone together in one place.
Ending the Night with a Bang!
After the final innings, we weren’t quite finished celebrating.
The evening ended with an incredible fireworks show, lighting up the sky over the ballpark and providing the perfect finale to our summer outing. You could say the fireworks literally blew us out of the park! 😊🎆

We’re grateful to every employee who joined us, to the family members who came along for the fun, and to the Asheville Tourists staff for helping make our evening at the ballpark such a great experience.
From long days in the summer heat to challenging projects and busy schedules, our employees put in tremendous effort throughout the year. Taking an evening to enjoy baseball, food, family, and each other’s company was a well-deserved way to celebrate the team.
