Erosion is non-desirable movement of soils across a site. It is caused by weather (water and wind), physical traffic, soil, slope and other causes.
The best way to prevent erosion is with a combination of turf establishment, hardscape components, drainage structures, and installation of bio-mass to keep soil in place.
Here at B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc. we build concrete, timber, boulder, stone, engineered / compacted structural slope, and seawalls.
Good drainage allows mitigation of erosion and healthy establishment of desired landscape.
