B. H. Graning Landscapes Helps Bring New Dog Park and Children’s Play Area to Life at Tanger Asheville
Sylva, NC – September 2025 – B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc. is proud to announce its role in the development of the newly opened dog park and children’s play area at Tanger Outlets Asheville. The project, unveiled to the public on September 13, is designed to provide families and their pets with a welcoming outdoor space that blends recreation, art, and nature.
As part of the transformation, B. H. Graning Landscapes performed the grading to prepare the site, ensuring proper drainage and long-term functionality. The team then completed bed installations on both sides, incorporating a mix of plants, fresh mulch, edging, and strategically placed boulders that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. To complete the dog park side, crews installed lush sod, creating an immediate and durable green play surface for pets and their owners.

The new space also includes shaded seating, a water station for pets, picnic tables, and an elevated walking trail. Local artists Gus Cutty and Kathryn Crawford added custom murals, celebrating the Blue Ridge Mountains and reinforcing the community spirit behind the design.
