We are proud to announce two well-deserved promotions in our Snow Operations Division: Michael Collins as Snow Operations Manager and Charlie Sturgis as Assistant Snow Operations Manager.
Michael Collins – Snow Operations Manager
Michael Collins joined our team in the summer of 2018 as a landscape crew member. His dedication and work ethic quickly earned him the position of Crew Leader in 2020. By 2023, Michael stepped into the role of Assistant Operations Manager, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise. In December 2024, Michael was promoted to Snow Operations Manager, taking charge of all aspects of snow and ice management.
In this critical role, Michael will oversee planning and execution of snow removal operations, including:
- Coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure timely service.
- Monitoring weather patterns to stay ahead of snow and ice events.
- Maintaining equipment and materials while upholding safety standards.
- Providing leadership to snow removal crews and ensuring client satisfaction.
Michael’s hard work, high character, and leadership skills make him a perfect fit for this role. His dedication to excellence reflects the values we strive for at B.H. Graning Landscapes.
Charlie Sturgis – Assistant Snow Operations Manager
Joining B.H. Graning Landscapes in 2017 as a crew member, Charlie Sturgis has steadily climbed the ranks through his outstanding attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality service. In 2019, Charlie became a Crew Leader, where he began mentoring new employees and building strong customer relationships. He continued to excel as Assistant Operations Manager in 2023 and, in December 2024, earned the title of Assistant Snow Operations Manager.
In his new role, Charlie will:
- Support the Snow Operations Manager in planning and executing snow and ice management services.
- Ensure that all crews are properly trained and equipped for winter events.
- Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and operational reliability.
- Lead by example, offering hands-on training and support to team members.
Charlie’s leadership, customer service skills, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to our team. His ability to train and mentor new employees fosters a culture of growth and collaboration at B.H. Graning Landscapes.
